@TCMO99 and to peter prescott for his willingness to continue making great music which is so loud, behind plexiglas, out of respect for his friend and bandmate, roger miller.

Here's what Roger has to do now: 1) Custom made earplugs made of solid rubber, 2) He has his amps pointing away from his ears 3) He still wears those headset noise protectors for guys who fire rifles. Ladies and gentlemen, we have the second coming of Ludwig von Beethooven.

Even as most supposedly-underground musicians begin to seem just as dumb and rock-star-asshole-esque as anyone else, MoB remains above and beyond that. Their combination of fist-pumping, intelligence and honesty is incredible.

my fav part of this song is when it falls apart. i'm amazed how good they did it live.
-
This is an excellent illustration of the way in which MoB never play a song the same way twice -- every performance is invested with something new.

holy crap that was an awesome version. Its already been said but, wow those loops were just plain sick

Roger Miller, for his willingness to continue making great music which is so loud, in spite of his ear damage, is a man who is willing to suffer for his art. The man is a hero. And this is the greatest band that Boston - my former home - has ever produced.

I made my dad take me to Wax Trax on Lincoln Ave. in Chicago when I was 14 (1983) from the suburbs so i could buy Vs. This version is great.
