  • I was blown away by these guys and by the Abrams Brothers on Sunday, who, for me, were the surprise of the whole weekend!

  • He's got what must be one of, or even THE best, and distinctive voices in bluegrass.

  • Killer. Can't wait for Steeldrivers #2. Virtuoso musicianship. Skintight harmonies. Really smart songwriting. And Chris Stapleton is the greatest bluegrass soul singer in the world. That's all. I know these people have a lot else going for them (hit country-radio songwriters, studio musicians, etc.), but the very best thing they can give the world is more Steeldrivers.

  • definately one of my favorite bands, songs, and voices of all time.

  • I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THE STEELDRIVERS!!!!....with Stapleton that is....haven't found a track or video with Gary Nichols on it that I like yet....tryin to give him a chance though because the body of music this band has created is FANTASTIC.....Stapleton? Do you watch these ever? COME BACK! Keep Jompon Bros. as a side project.... I for one would easily pay $100 to see Steeldrivers w/Stapleton just for a full set. Money motivates, right?

  • @bootsmcgoots I agree! excellent! Wish Chris woulda stuck around...Gary rocks though, but Chris owned it!

  • if anyone has seen them live and bought the live album (apparently it was only available at shows) send me a message on here, i would like to offer a trade or something if youd be willing to mail it to me!

  • @tadmania1

Actually, springfield muskets were used in the civil war. Cartridges were just invented and they didn't see widespread use until the middle of the war.

  • @tenjed2 me too. have you listened to the new guy at all though? he sounds really similar to chris i think. that's good news, right? :)

  • good god this new song is so good, accidentally found linked on another band

  • Where do you find the lyrics? They sound beautiful but I can't make out some of what is being said.

  • Im going to miss this guy on stage...good luck with the future Chris.
