The came on the scene so dramatically in February of 1964 (with their arrival at the airport and their appearance on Ed Sullivan). But, Paul and John had been together since 1956. And, Paul brought George along shortly after that. They were adolescents when they met. They simply grew up and matured as men; and, they grew tired of each other after more than 10 years. They began to "imprison" each other. John and George wanted to breathe.
