3 Steps From Sanity - Sacrifice

3 Steps From Sanity's debut album Admission introduces a bands unique take on melodic metal. From breathtaking vocal harmonies to teeth crunching brutal screams 3SFS runs the gamut of musical styles. Throughout the album the melodies, song structures, compositions, and styles switch from heavy to melodic, from fast to slow, brutal to soft, and heavy to even heavier. This female fronted metal band aims to remind us what metal is all about.

The Phoenix Arizona based four piece is comprised of Eve Flohrschutz, the vocalist behind the haunting notes that rival many opera singers and yet she still manages to get down in the trenches with the rest of her male counterparts. David Dragen, the band's only guitarist, is the reason for the madness and provides his fans with the wicked guitar riffs and the pit of your stomach screams they crave. On bass is Jacob Yoon, the newest member of the band. As a former guitarist he has brought a new take on bass theory with heavy, driving bass lines that push through the melodies without dominating the music. The drumming madman is Josh Bounds who never lets us forget hes there with his intricately timed machine gun style double bass and pounding rhythms. 3 Steps From Sanity is happy to put their metal where their mouth is.

Drawing their musical influences from Metallica, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Pantera, Evanescence, Mudvayne, and many others, the band portrays a brutal front with a soft inner core. Fans of all genres will feel a unique connection to the songs as they experience the musical storyline that 3SFS has created.

While 3SFS is still local in the Phoenix metal scene, they are plotting a course for greatness through a non-stop, no excuses, musical assault that will make every fan embrace their inner metal-head. Make no mistakethis isnt cutesy, girlie metalthis is 3 Steps From Sanity.
