My music teacher told me why music like this are scary. It's because there's no beat to it and you don't know when the next note comes up. Just like when you don't know when the zombie is going to jump out at you from nowhere. It builds tension and you can't catch up with it so it surprises you. If you try counting 1-2-3-4 with this, you'll get lost. It has no beat... scary...
