This is a shit phone! Telstra stopped selling them because they were too overpriced for what they are. They look like a cheap piece of crap from a $2 shop and don't have the technology that much cheaper phones have.

@LexM97 actually, telstra stopped selling it because they are fazing out 2G phones, they want everything on 3G because they dont want to have to run both at the same time, its to expensive. and yes it looks kinda cheap and toyish, but it still turns heads even today. and although it doesnt have the technology most 3 year old phones have, its multitasking capabilities are second to none.

even my iphone 4 cant jump around as seamlessly as this old hiptop.

@andrew35945 no, it doesnt have ANY video capabilities. there is no way to view/record/play/send videos

i have hte sidekick 2008 and i got it maybe 4 days ago and on my menu my fave 5 is not showing up it says i need internet for it..same w/ having a calcuator on my phone. and also on my inbox when i get a new text the name doesnt show up only the number, please help?

try cleaning it with an ear bud (q-tip)

if it doesnt work, its probably broken.

yea my trackball will go up and to the left n right but wont go down why is that? it can spin down but it does not move on the screen
