Why would we want to see a lousy, boring Irish team in the WC, when we can watch France who has some of the best players in the world.

Why don't we not bother with the qualification process, ignore baltant cheating and just have the teams you want at the World Cup. To be honest, I think FIFA would class Sweden at a similar level to Ireland. Your argument is flawed

I never said Sweden should be in the WC. They didn't play well, and therefore they don't deserve to play with the 32 best teams in the world (even though I consider Sweden top 32). If you seriously think that there should be a replay, you truely are ignorant. You can't just replay a game everytime the referee commits a mistake (because mistakes happen every game). To replace the referees to a certain extent (with modern technology) might be an option.

I'm not sure that football would ever be the same though. But with the FIFA regulations we have now, there's nothing that can be done, whether Brazil, England, Spain, Sweden or France would have been in Irelands spot. That's all I'm saying.

Strange how the big nations always get the big decisions. Video technology is a necessity and an option I have mentioned numerous times before you mentioned it.
