A foundational start to teach your body (neurological, mechanical and mental too!) how to land onto a feature by decelerating, balancing and stabilizing in a dryland setting. Frontside rotations are illustrated but don't forget to systematically perform the backside variations. Come up with your own variations of tricks you are looking to stomp in the future and practice them before you are strapped in!

  • Force reduction (slowing down).

  • Thanks so much for posting this. It is so difficult to find solid info for off season cross training. I want to push myself to the limits when I ride and the only good way to do that is to be prepared.

  • I couldn't agree more, but I'm biased because thats what I do for a living ;) I will have plenty of more stuff that will be making its way on here. Thanks for viewing!

  • Appreciate it! People don't understand that this is conditioning based to help train your nervous system and soft tissues tolerate the stress of this movement. In addition, if you can't do it WITHOUT a snowboard...definitely won't happen when you have one strapped to your feet! Thanks again!
