  • is it worth getting the 777 over the 377 if i already have a good x-fi sound card?

  • I think it depends on your needs. The only real difference is that the 777 supports 5.1 Dolby surround sound and uses a USB interface. I think the drivers are the same (just more of them for different channels in the 777) as well. I guess it just depends on if you need surround sound or not.

  • Can't wait till I get my 777 =D

  • They were awesome to hear. Comfortable and very stylish as well.

  • My god... the second lady was so annoying. Was she really that monumental in the design process? We get it, you talked to gamers. So what? Just tell us the damned features!!!

  • ive read that when you use for music you should turn off the dolby surround thing cause it will sound different, obvioulsy lol. im tempted to get these for the dolby dongle,i did read you can use this on ps3,but only the mic works and you can thear the game audio?

  • Great for both

  • is the 777 5.1 good for music to or is it just for gaming?

  • well i was planning on disabling onboard audio and just plugging it in.

  • actually assuming your computer sees another device for the audio you may have to go through the wizard to set it up but its really quick and works right away. This is assuming it does the same on Vista as XP. Personally i just originally plugged it into my sound card...the usb adapter has almost an echoe sound to it.

  • It's completely plug and play, no drivers needed.

  • Does The Gamecom 77 Use/Need any special Drivers? Im using 64bit Vista proberly going to go to Windows 7 x64 Beta and i want to know if its using Dolby Drivers / Plantronics or windows ones.
