RAF CHANGI SINGAPORE 1960

Part of an RAF film depicting Transport Command and life in the RAF abroad. Interesting for anyone ex RAF or any Singapore Brats. I was born in RAF Hospital Changi in 1955 but unfortunately came to the UK only 18 months later. I believe the hospital is famous for being haunted.

I too lived there from 65-67 with my father, Ron Chidgey, who was in the RAF. Happy memories - intensified as we had been separated for one year as Dad helped with the confrontation in Borneo. Halcyon days, never to return... Amazing to have such well kept colour footage - do you have any more?

I was born in RAF Changi in 1954 my parents were Judy and Ray (william) Adams, I would like one day to visit my birthplace , you never know .

@contesa32 It's STILL an airport. Now it's RSAF Changi. Connected to the main international airport now.

I was born here in 1966 my dad was based here then. My brother and sisters really enjoyed it here. Thank you for showing me where i was born.
