Queensryche - Home Again (clips) 08/01/09 Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Maryland

Queensryche (Geoff Tate with daughter, Emily Tate) singing Home Again from their latest album, American Soldierl on 08/01/09 in Columbia, Maryland at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Unfortunately, my SD Card ran out of space in the middle of the song. I switched out cards and got a little more of Emily Tate singing, but it's not the whole song, just 2 clips spliced together. I was hand-holding a Canon digital powershot S2IS- digital camera and was in row R. :-) Queensryche was added for this one show to the 2009 Progressive Nation Tour and played for a little less than an hour. This show was added to the end of their U.S. summer headlining tour before being off for 2 weeks then heading to Japan and Australia.

thanks for these merriweather recordings!! i was there @ that show dressed in american soldier uniform,, while i was stationed there....got a few pics. of my mom and I,,, she seen them a bunch on this tour.. me...twice on this tour,, maybe san diego comin' up and a total of ten times throughout the years!! tnx agn!!!

This song is so thoughtful...and deep...Geoff looks like a good father....and a very cool one at that..I have admired him since the 80's.....I can feel what a father might be feeling as he is so far away from his family....not knowing the future.....would love to make a video, with this song...to express the love...fear...sadness...that a father would be feeling as he sits in the sand...writing that letter.....my God....how would that feel??

Wonderful video..love Geoff and his daughter. I been a military wife for over 30 years , and have shared the same fears, same tears, and same proudness that makes us all Americans, with other military families..Freedom isn't free..and if Geoff wants to sing with his beautiful daughter..so be it. He is free to share his pride with the rest of us! Thank you Geoff for this beautiful song! For those of you that feel he is doing wrong..go back to your country! Who cares if your Greek!
