BioFuel Processor part 2

...part 2 gives us a look at the new Waste Vegetable Oil collection rig. This portable collection device is made with a Harbor Freight 12 Volt Diesel Transfer Pump, ammo box with two 12 volt batteries in parallel, some extra 3/4" ID clear braided hose, a Goldenrod 10 micron filter and housing and some other odds and ends I had laying around my junky yard.

I had a small problem with the fuse which melted, however, I was able to easily access the fuse compartment and swap out the fuse for a circuit breaker and get things pumping again.

I know what you mean...it is a Diesel Transfer Pump and is NOT designed to do anything else. I needed a cheap start...it solved that problem. I now have 5 other pumps and all is well. Maybe I will post something about them soon...just to update.

Thanks! This is helpful, i could've choosen any kinds or types of pump, now at least people will be aware of what type of pump to buy and use....

Trial and erroe is costly, at least we have somebody here who could tell us the rigth stuff to purchase or use...

dude u need to get a bigger pump for geting your oil beacuse i had the same pump it was turning off on me every time. found out it was working it too hard so i went out and got a pump that will pump the use oil easer so the pump i had i use it to pump my biodiesel to cars and is works fine that way im just giving u some ideas.
