Disneyland - December 24, 1997 - Part 1

It's Christmas Eve at Disneyland, December 24, 1997. The (one and only) park is only open until 8 p.m.! The Christmas Fantasy Parade and Fantasmic! will both be shown before closing time and the monorail passes the 1990s era Disneyland sign and through the parking lot while its spiel invites us to come back and see Disney's California Adventure when it's complete in 2001 and to see the "New Tomorrowland" when it is completed in Spring of 1998.

This video includes a brief bus ride past the Disneyland sign, through the parking lot, the ticket booths and main gate, old-fashioned vehicles on Main Street U.S.A. (with the Street decorated for Christmas), some of the construction for "New Tomorrowland", the queue for Star Tours (with a number of the characters wearing Santa hats), the queue for Space Mountain (including a bit of the pre-ride videos and safety spiel), a couple of the operating yellow submarines, the Tomorrowland Autopia and train station, and a round-trip ride on the Mark V Monorail Blue.

Did you film the ride . I really like this video even Tommorrowland Ride such as SM and ST have some Christmas decorations. I Miss 90's Space Mountain.

@Daniel2131990 I did not record Space Mountain in 1997 -- the camcorder was not good in the dark -- and I don't think I've ever successfully recorded a ride on it. Star Tours said no videotaping and I obey those instructions.

Man, look at how Disneyland looks like in the 90's before it became a resort. Thanks for sharing this film. I'm gonna put this in my playlist called Forgotten Disneyland.
