The bible says that lying is wrong, and cheating, but I know several Christians who have lied and cheated. I'm bisexual, and a Catholic. I also read where Chely said EVERYONE in her family loves and accepts her for who she is. It's not only Christians who judge homosexuals. It's a lot of people of any religion. I know an atheist who is a homophobe. Just because you aren't what's known as "perfect" doesn't mean you can't follow a religion. No one is perfect.

...so she says that she is a Gay Christian? i dont understand how gay people can follow/believe in the bible. the bible says that being gay is wrong and you will go to hell for it. even Chelys mom disowned her for coming out because of religion. i am not gay or religious but id rather be gay than be religious...

@53dumey It's not a "publicity thing" that Chely Wright is gay, you know what's weird and depraved? Being gay and being in a relationship with the opposite sex, Chely Wright spoke about this over her relationship with Brad Paisley, she had no right being in that relationship. Her being gay ain't weird or depraved, idiot.
