My point is that ultimately the final SOUND is what is important. How you get there doesn't matter. To get something sounding good you need to have alot of ability but not necessarily with regards to chords, music scales etc.... I agree though there are alot of "beat makers" that just churn out shit all day long and then some they will get someone to cut it up and arrange the whole thing, mix it down before some guy masters it to make it sound good.

Trust me enough people get by in the music scene WITHOUT knowing none of that shit. It's not about scales or chords or fucking any of that shit. It's all about how it sounds. You don't need to know any of that to make good music but of course it helps.

yeah... it could sound good, to him or to you that doesnt mean its good... he could come up with something good... but its not gonna be all the time... my point is... this game its not about who has the best equipment it the interest and love that u put into it, and anyway u HAVE to know something about music, scales, chords etc... or how to mix if ur sampling, cuz sampling its easy as hell but if u dont mix it right could sound horrible
