The picture was taken in 1978 in Haddonfield, NJ by Frank Stefanko. It was in his book "Days of Hope and Dreams". It has appeared in the Troubadour of the Highway exhibit, and in Bruce's "Songs" book. The car had mag wheels and tires that are not vintage 1960. Bruce still has the car and had it restored to it's original 1960 style. It's currently at the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame museum.
well first of all, by the look of Bruce's age in the picture it looks to be in the early 70s. And the tires of the corvette are clearly not from that age or any one before hand. Plus, look at where Bruce is sitting on the car, it looks like there is no impression of his being up against the car. It just looks like he is hovering over the headlights.
