  • m'kay...

  • I was about to watch porn, but this physics video distructed me, it's more exciting

  • @Phospholipidicious What are you, some kind of quantum of the idiot field or what? OK, let me explain the higgs field to you, for FREE: "It's not there." You will notice that the experimental data supports this statement 100% LOL

  • @mrkvamaster your mom is a retard you asshole... you low self-esteem self centered narcissistic prick... let me see your ass spending years in school then explaining higgs field free for the public.... now go fuck yourself forever in the higgs field...

  • this guy is a retard

  • @TrappingAndCooling Ok, he was talking about the LEP collider which used the same tunnel as LHC :D

  • At 0:35 he says: "they accelerate electrons in one way and positrons the other way" but the CERN only smashes protons and nuclei.

  • They're the same things, but occupy different positions on the electromagnetic spectrum. i.e., wavelenghts and, consequently, frequencies are different.

  • photons are not particles, they are quanta, they are particle-waves. It is the same. But they are talking about making a ripple on the Higgs Field, affecting the Higgs bosons, Faraday and Maxwell showed they could affect photons by causing ripples in the electro-magnetic field. Same concepts, different levels of energy.

  • I'm not an expert, but off the top of my head, quantum fields only deal with particles. It has been shown that photons can behave like either a wave or a particle, or rather, it is actually both at once. The quantum field is simply the scope of particles, whereas the electromagnetic field is the scope of waves.
