  • Castle Films offered the Woody cartoons in both color as well as black & white for the home market in 8mm, super 8 & 16mm film.

  • i know this one from when i was young (7 years or something) man i love those cartoons. the newer ones arent as good as these ones

  • hello, although i agree with your comment, i can say im an 18 year old and ive been watching woody woodpecker for a couple of hours now and im downloading some too, i love woody woodpecker :) just to let you know that some young people appreciate true cartoons lol

  • I've actually seen this in color on TV.

  • Castle Films had the exclusive rights to distribute Walter Lantz's theatrical cartoons for home projection viewing on 16mm {and eventually, 8mm} film, beginning in the '50s, right through the '70s- "Termites from Mars" (1952) was one of them. This print was locally distributed by the "Commerical and Home Movie Service" of Allentown, Pa.
