@Andrewnuva199 Man, that sucks that fans are upset over this. Technically, I can understand WHY: it means that "I" am no longer that Stranger in Myst 5. However, I see the necesity of having a set character name to allow a fixed chronology/timeline, else Myst Online wouldn't make much sense ("I saved the Least!" "No, I did!" "No, it was me!") and it allows for a new main character if/when they start doing major story arcs again.

@IYFGames712 Actually, they se the official time difference between Myst 1-4 and Uru/Myst 5 at around 200 years difference. And no, she didn't write a new Myst book, that is supposed to be the original one (else it wouldn't have any structures on it since Atrus wouldn't have visited it).

To clarify for everyone: I'm not claiming that Relto is actually Myst island. It isn't. However, Yeesha did design Relto to look like Myst.
She says: "It was the first Age I wrote - a gift for my parents... and now, much more. It reminds me of another home; another place. I even placed the library in the place it belongs."
The "rebirth" I mention in the description is not literal, but metaphorical.

...is it ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE that I've been playing these games since I was eight (I'm sixteen now), and I never notice that Relto could easily be Myst Island?!
