My Immortal; Joick; [Epilogue]

Epilogue—
Quite a few years have passed since Joe and I were married. We now have four children together, Rachel, Caleb, Emily, and Kevin. Rachel is 13, Caleb is 10, Emily is 4, and Kevin is 18 months.
We adopted two dogs, Milo and Squeaky. (Don't ask.)
And Miley and Demi are our neighbors. They finished university with flying colors, and opened up their own businesses right in town.
Joe works from home, in the office he built in the two storey home we designed. He's a published author, writing mostly fiction, which have won many awards that I've displayed in our dining room. The best story he's written he says, is the one I co-wrote, our life together. I've read all of his work, but I do have to agree with him. Our story is the best, and I can't wait until our children are old enough to hear the story too.
I think about Kevin often. I visit his grave every year on the anniversary of his death, and I talk. I tell him everything, all my secrets. I tell him how little Kevin is doing, and lay pictures on his grave.
And when I go home, I rock little Kevin to sleep, and call me crazy, but I know I see Kevin in those small, loving brown eyes full of wonder.
