http://fingerprintsofautism.blogspot.com/ Sorry about the sound I uploaded it 4 times still no sound. Sierra's first birthday and you can see the signs of autism here. No eye contact, humming, no emotion, fixation on the cake

  • This video has no sound, could not get it to work on here for some reason. Yes we are singing to her and interacting with her.

@Sueezee - I did not think she was autistic at the time, I knew there was something not right.

For the rest of the comments - I had posted this after her diagnoses so I was not diagnosing her myself. If there was sound you would hear the low grade hum she made and you would be able to see that there was no interaction, it had nothing to do with the cake

  • My son was diagnosed around the same time as your daughter..watching your video was so much like watching my son on his 1st bday with his cake..it is so interesting to me how diffrently autism effects each child but at the same time it is so much the same..thank you for sharing

  • @noonan099 it's easy to judge when looking in from the outside.

  • @Sueezee1 YOu are right, maybe parents are not adept and making videos that display every autistic nuance seen as THE BEGINNINGs of autism. Even a trained eye cannot tell autism from these vids alone. But please do not rush to judgement because the parents are not capturing developmental delays in 46 second vids.

  • @Sueezee1 I'm thinking the same thing, What is going on, why are all these parents thinking something is wrong with their children? Its freaking me out.

  • I had to check to see if my sound was off. Why isn't anyone interacting with her? Singing to her? Talking to her? Was I just not hearing it?

  • @multisnootylives1 Wow. Autism is NOT retardation. Also, this is just a baby. How could you say such mean things about a baby?
