Feedback Video Log

This is one of the first electronic things i made.. ("modified", probably around 1998 or so).. it is a log with a build in amplifier.. the amp makes the speaker move and the speaker makes the mirror move.. the camera films the mirror that reflects the monitor, and the monitor is connected to the camera. So now there is feedback that shakes to the sound going into the amp.. when you put the camera on negative, the effect is the best. This video was recorded not so long ago, with music made with lsdj, using just the wave channel..

very nice indeed! I've was thinking about doing something similar by bouncing a laser beam off a mirror+speaker to a rotating mirror that would project the waveform like an oscilloscope. Think it would work? Btw, what kind of speaker did you use?

It probably would work.

I made two versions of the machine.. the first one used a speaker that plays back all sound. And the second one used a base speaker.. i think(i made both of them a long time ago, so not hundred% sure..)

the one with the wood doesn't work anymore. so this video was made with the small one.
