Actually calling him Pancho Gonzalez is worse than calling him Steffi Graf since Gonzales was married to Andre's sister. He did ask Andre if Steffi is considering retirement. Someone probably should have prepped the ole fart that Gonzales died in 1995 and Steffi Graf retired in 1999.

Rita Agassi, Andre's sister, was coached in tennis by Pancho Gonzalez. Rita later moved in with Pancho and eventually married him in 1984. According to a Sports Illustrated article Rita's father Mike hated Pancho and considered having him killed. When Pancho Gonzalez died broke in 1995 Andre Agassi paid for his funeral. I think Larry King was making subtle statements by calling tennis great Andre Agassi "Pancho Gonzalez", subtle statements that were way over Howard Stern's head.
