  • FottballCat21, The electro shocking was done through the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. It was for scientific research, not sport. The current running through the water only momentarily stuns the organisms and does not harm them. Let me know if you have any further questions/comments that I help with.

  • @trexeater101 We were sampling snakeheads only. All else fish were ignored.

  • @rsnowhite In fact, this is less harmful to the fish than traditional catch and release methods.
