hi--saw your comment..I am unclear about the LOL..I just don't see propaganda here....its incredible to me that parents still leave those around, as my father did...I was smart enough to have seen enough movies to know to remove the clip...of course it never occured to me that there could have been one in the chamber....

I have yet to find any family involved in or incidence of gun accidents, violence, or stupidity when the children are raised with firearms and taught safety and how to properly handle a firearm! Why is this a problem now when it wasn't...say 50 years ago, when children were raised to use and respect firearms? I have been teaching both my kids (boy and girl) how to safely use firearms since they were big enough to pick them up. About 5 years old. No problem!

All these shootings...no training!

@tradewriter Maybe you should change this message to state "end senseless accidents" and then propose a way for such accidents to be avoided and then you would be contributing to our society. But I highly doubt that your agenda has anything to do with accidents but instead much to do with infringing upon my right. @tradewriter Not the case. My parents taught me how to use a pistol at 10 and I knew where the pistol and the ammo were located. My brothers and I never played with the pistol, we knew what it was and the fact that it was not a toy. Many of my friends who have kids (one 4 years old) can leave their firearms loaded, on the coffee table and know that their kids will not play with it because they did their jobs as parents and taught their kids from a young age not to do so.

Why does this commercial equate an extremely unfortunate accident with "gun violence?" Violence is a malicious application of unjust or unwarranted force. An accidental shooting is not an act of malicious intent, so how can it be equated with an act of violence? it is a comparison of apples to oranges.

And this is why you don't keep kids in the dark. Seeing this right after the one of the 15 year old using an AR 15 to fight off a home invader (that wasn't a cartoon, but was real life) on confirms for me that the anti-gun position is only interested in the emotional arguement, not the factual one. The kid with the AR-15 was trained on how to use it, and because it wasn't locked up, he was able to save his and his sisters life.

@tradewriter, ok someone breaks into your house they have a gun and your gun is locked so your kids cant play with it, what do you do, ask the robber to stay where he is when you go to unlock your guns? And calling the cops isnt going to help either as they say when seconds are precious cops are only minutes away. Stop gun control it makes crime rates rise.
