I remember when I was real young, people would pop-lock to this and break dance.

This was the sound that pretty much redefined hip-hop and R&B music for the next few decades. It was the song's popularity with the African-American community at the time that prompted Soul Train to invite YMO to the show.

It sounds EXACLY like the album version, so NO, it wasn't live, at least not the audio on this version. It might have been live THEN, on Soul Train. This has been an inspiration for generations of musicians.

Not true. There were some live performances on Soul Train. There is much video of James Brown performing live on the show. Stevie Wonder also played live. There are probably others as well, but those are the only two I'm completely sure about.

Okay, geek head on... 'Computer Games' as it was release was actually two tracks mixed together as a 'Maxi-Single' or 'EP' - 'Computer Game' (singular) and 'Firecracker'.
