I just bought the hpd 10 & I had to put som velcro under my stomp pad just so I wouldn't chase it around the room.
I'm a drum kit player at heart so sitting is more suiting for me but it seems that you're definitely the stand-up percussionist!

Well it was a quick and improvised take and I was babysitting as you might have guessed (00:47) ...Quite uncomfortable indeed...
