  • mccoy actually did the arrangments. And it is not E for a half an hour. And it wasn't jimmy garrison it was art davis and reggie workman. and rashid ali was not on drums. wow.....all wrong.

  • wow. he should learn his facts.

  • The tune "Africa" from "Africa Brass" is nowhere near half an hour long. And Coltrane recorded it in 1961, not 1963.

  • I only wish I could have been there myself to learn from this master. Saw him and his musicians in Norfolk VA back in 1997 and it blew me away.

  • How embarrasing. The host said he was a "nobel prize winner" in the beginning. Thats a disgrace, frankly.
