The Gaffney family achieved their civil rights in two successive generations. Stuart Gaffney married his long-time partner John Lewis after the CA Supreme Court approved civil marriage for LGBT people on May 15, 2008. His mother who is Chinese and his father who is English-Irish could marry in CA as a result of the Perez decision which struck down the ban on interracial marriages. Both of these couples had to wait for justice--the same justice that many Americans take for granted. Gaffney and Lewis are among the 18,000 gay couples who did not lose their married status as a result of the May 26, 2009 CA Supreme Court ruling.
If you go over someone's house an act like an idiot then expect to be kicked out. I just told them how to block you so b-bye! ;)
