  • How did you come up with such strange term like "strategical tactics" ?

(By the way, is there a "tactical strategy" ?)

To me it sounds like somebody saying "whitish black" or "blackish white".

In military terms strategy is about methods of winning the whole war or campaign.

While Tactics is about winning something on much smaller scale, like battle or skirmish.

  • Your explanations are excellent. Inlovs your London system videos. I hope you continue posting. Thank you for sharing! Justin

  • have you done many videos? you sound kinda nervous..but i dosnt matter we all get what you mean

  • At 6:35, isn't Bh6 instead of Nxg7 stronger for White?

If gxh5, then Qxg7#. If Bxh6, then Nf6+, winning the Queen.

If Bh8, Nf6+. After Bxf6, White has exf6, and whatever Black does next, White replies with Bg7, with mate coming soon (I think).

Anything else that Black tries leads to White getting the g7 Bishop for the pawn sac, with a completely dominant position (I think, once again, Black will have to concede further material loss to avoid getting mated soon, but I may be wrong about this).

  • i think nxg6 or nxe6 doesn´t work because of bishop takes bishop and you lose a pice don´t you ?

  • Nxd5 looks ok to me

  • BTW, i loved this video, i like the pace, and sentences like "no RxN pff this is stupid" ...but overall, the substance is really interesting...

  • no i think it's good this way, to verbalize the variations but blindfold (almost), this is a good training since it's how you calculate OTB...

  • Good video,thanks.

  • Dont afraid to show all the variations visually please. Its much better actually see what you are talking about. Good video. You won me with the morphy game, but this is strenghtening me further. :)
