Motorcycle cruiser rider locks up rear brake (multiple times), does 180, and flips passenger off back in a stunning maneuver. Oopsy. Curve was a decreasing radius turn on the infamous Devil's Highway in eastern Arizona, about 10 miles south of Hannigan Meadow.

  • I doubt anyone here could manage to keep a behemoth of a bike like that from low-siding or high-siding, luck or not this guy knew what he was doing!

  • @baumboards The only reason it didn't drop is because it was his GF's bike and it had HUGE crashbars sticking out of each side that both bounced off the ground, That's why it spun around in a 180. No skill, luck. He locked up the rear brake TWICE in the same turn instead of leaning. Too used to riding Harleys in a straight line.

  • i dont care what people say about this guy. if he can save a crash (and that looked pretty hopeless at one point), then he is a bad ass mother fucker in my eyes.

  • @Likeafoxow Maybe you should get some of the outrigger crash bars that he bounced off of if you think that's what it takes to be a "bad ass". lol

  • How lucky was that?

  • HAHA! Learn to ride.

  • That guy shouldn't be allowed to ride.

  • Why the hell did he hit the brakes? He could have made that corner at three times the speed he was going! ??!??

And I agree - this guy has no skill whatsoever. None.

  • He was lucky a car wasn't coming the other way.

Inexperience got him . He should have been closer to the curb side to begin with. No need to ride the center line in the mountains, especially when not in a group.. Give yourself some room to work with.

  • i think he got scarred of the scraping of the pipes in the curb, the bike doesn't have a lot of clearance with two peap on it. The driver raised the bike up and got scarred again when he entered the other lane.

Panic braking, and a sore bum and cranked ego is the result. Could have ended far worse !

  • He was just too scared to negotiate the curve, there was no need to brake al all there....

  • this shit happens, its just unlucky

  • Doesnt appear to me like this guy should be riding a motor sickle! I would of been on the ground laughing at him and then after i recovered from that I would of started mocking him.

  • How could anyone say he is a good rider and "he saved the bike" Really.. How about he should have never even gotten into that situation to begin with.... Thats pure inexperience right there.. He saw the turn, panicked and thought he was going to fast so he locked the brakes...simple... He should get a sportster and ride ALONE without a passenger before putting himself, his passenger and everyone riding with him in danger again..
