One of the best (but lesser known) bands to come out of Melbourne, Australia in the late 80's-early 90s.

Bad Gin is from Blue Ruin's second album, first released in 1987.

  • i had a huge crush on QMcL. I think I saw them at the Richmond Club a few times. Love the seedy eighties influenced blues. The eighties fashion had no influence whatsoever, because it was so easy to find 50s and 60s frocks.

  • you can really see the blatant 50's influence from 30 years away. this song really took me back, i havn't heard this song since then until just now. wow! thank you,...

  • Oh yes... I wish Rock Arena would be remastered and stuck on DVD. I'd buy! Thanks for uploading this song, I thought it was great, never got to see these guys - always bad timing!

  • I agree with Carl, all those rock arena gigs need to be up here, i use to have them on tape years back, blue ruin, creepers, hunters, hollowmen et all, where are they??

  • @carl1964Wish I'd been around then, now I just have too be content playing with his son.

  • saw them at the corner...intense is the word that comes to mind in the formation of that particular memory!

  • how goood were these guys ??? Too cool then . . . nothing's changed . . . tune in youngsters, this is the real deal !!!

  • where is the vid for Lighthouse Girl?

Another reunion gig (l;ast one was 2009) at the corner again is well over due.

  • Would be great if Quincy would put the live set of Rock Areana onto dvd before its lost for ever.

  • i did a couple of lightshows for them down in tassie in the 80,s, they were a great live band to see , very tight and smooth like velvet, a true pleasure
