Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to Tales Month.

YES, I said Tales MONTH. A whole 31 days of epic win from Motoi Sakuraba and Go Shiina that span the entire franchise from Phantasia to Graces, from Narikiri Dungeon to Versus, and oh so much more. :D

NOTE: DO NOT REQUEST SONGS FOR TALES MONTH. ALL SONGS HAVE ALREADY BEEN CHOSEN. YOU WILL BE IGNORED.

Our next game is Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2. Released in 2009, it has triple the Tales characters of the first Radiant Mythology and overall a much better game.

Our fourth song for today is the RM2 version of Fighting of the Spirit! And it is WIN! Enjoy!

  • could someone plz tell me whether the name is cress or cless? the snes and its port on gba get it mixed up

  • Sweet another version to add to my growing collection of this track...now to transpose it!

  • We flash raided a park during a convention near where I live (Okay, we had arranged it beforehand but hey!) And played this as Tales of characters. I didn't get Lloyd ~ but Kratos will do!

  • @DarkLinkZyw

I see. Thanks for the info.

  • @ES21007 Correction: it wasn't Nintendo they were displeased with, but Namco. Some changes include the title (originally "Tale Phantasia"), the director, the chara designer and such.

Nintendo didn't do anything with Tales of Phantasia, they just made the console. Namco was the publisher of the game (they took executive decisions), and the developers were Team Wolf, now dissolved (those who remained became Namco Tales Studio), and those who left became tri-Ace, then tri-Crescendo.

  • @Dragonatrix I know that NOW. :I

  • @ES21007 Well, I knew that, but... really. Kind of recycled much.

  • @Xeniphyst

Her's the thing. The people who mad Tales of Phantasia didn't like the way Nintendo treated them and their work, so some split of from Namco and made Tri-Ace, And then made Star Ocean. Of course there would be similarities.

  • @Xeniphyst So many Similarities
