I didn't (nor intended to) use terminology like 'those blacks' - or be condescending.

That's not my nature.

I DID indicate that it amazes me that blacks are such a part of the Democratic Party, a party whose philosophy and political viewpoints are about as condescending as it can get.

Democrats view blacks as incompetent - and basically say through ALL of their policies that blacks simply can't make it on their own; they need the government's help from cradle to grave. It's sad.

When I was growing up, 'black' was not only a good word, it was the name that black people called themselves. By the time I was in my teens (1970's), the terms 'Negro' and 'colored,' of course, were no longer used and considered divisive.

'Black is beautiful' was a positive term - so, I ask you - when did 'black' become a bad word????

Well, in a sense, they are.

More Republicans voted for the 1965 Civil Rights Bill than Democrats; the Democrats of the 19th Century started the Ku Klux Klan; Democrats are ALWAYS voting for bills that keep poor blacks in bondage to the government - destroying the souls of people which, ultimately, lead to abhorrent behavior....

...so, yes, the principles of the Democrats of the 20th and 21st century are as heinous as they were in the 19th Century.

There's nothing more 'inclusive' about the Democratic Party than there is about the Republican Party. The Republican Party was created during the Civil War - with the hopes of ending slavery; Democrats were AGAINST ending slavery.

It will ALWAYS amaze me why blacks gravitate towards the Democratic Party. I look at the inner city areas of our nation (especially St. Louis where I live) and I see the results of Democratic social policies upon urban black America. It's tragic...

Let's look at the clips of Obama voters. Since 97% of black America voted for our current president, shall we say the race was racially motivated - like you are saying by referring to Palin supporters as 'white rural voters?'

What's interesting about the comments by Chris Matthews, Joan Walsh and Norah O'Donnell on the 'monochromatic' and the 'whiteness' of the crowd at Palin's book signing is this: What's the common denominator of EVERY host of EVERY single show on MSNBC?

They're all white.
