@aligary No, the U.S. music "industry" won't accept him as a credible artist. It is the same reason why Adam Lambert did not win American Idol. He still got a record deal but I firmly believe that the reason he didn't win was because h is gay, because he was the best contestant. Many people in the U.S. however adore Will Young because he is a talented artist and people can respect that.

@Ajewa What a great comment! The UK has taken Will into their hearts and he's known here as a national treasure. There is a possibility that the fact he refuses to repress his sexuality is why the U.S wont accept him as a credible artist.. Another fact could be that he's not in this job for the fame...his own words. He loves life and picks out the things that make him happy.

WILL totally bewilders me. I only found him via the Graham Norton Show singing 'You and I' and he fn killed it. I have purchased all of his cd's and have been listening to him ever since. I am amazed America hasn't opened it's arms to this man with one of the best pop male voices since George Michael. I am absoulutely astounded by how talented this kid is.
