I loved Another World, and Douglass Watson and Victoria very much. They were one of the main reasons i watched the show, and it was so sad when he died.

The Emmys became all but meaningless a long time ago, sadly. I'm just glad we have the Internet and the memories of fans to keep these wonderful talents in the public eye.

Don Pardo's glib intro is disrespectful.
Poor Victoria, you can tell her heart is breaking the whole time. I don't know how she got through that.

it was incredibly hard for them and for Victoria. She is normally very stoic... but you can see in this tribute that she was struggling.

Too bad the Daytime Emmys no longer recognize the great actors of the medium when they pass away (e.g. Larry Haines, Beverlee McKinsey, etc.)
-
I can't imagine how any of the actors got through those funeral scenes, but it must have been especially hard for Victoria & Carmen.
Thanks for posting this clip!

wow one hell of a speech.. touching
Victoria Wyndham; what a class act! It's so disheartening that the Academy never honored her with an emmy. She could act circles around those woman on ABC. She is sorely missed from the world of Television.

It is a shame that Victoria isn't on soaps today. I personally think that she would make an AWESOME GL Alexandria or DAYS Vivian.
