Joe: (looks at the nurse) so will you please help me?
Nurse: (smiles) Ill be glad to help you

Nurse: if you just rest for a couple of hours

Nurse: please.you really need it honey
Joe: fine and thanks (gets back in bed and whispers) just a couple of hours babe (smiles and sleeps)

*minutes later*

nick: (runs into Joes room) hey man!
Joe: (wakes up) hey dude (sits up)
Nick: (laughs) sorry man were you sleeping?
Joe: (sighs) kindajust making time go by faster
Nick: oh (selena and kashley come in) hey babe (hugs selena)
Selena: hey (looks down)
Nick: (whispers to selena so Joe doesnt hear) what did the nurse say about Demi
Selena: (wispers back) come outside Ill tell you
Nick: (looks at Joe) you hungry?
Joe: MY STOMACHS GROWLIN FOR LOVE! (A/N lol JONAS moment :P)
Nick: (raises an eyebrow) okayI meant something you can eat

Nick: well im gonna go with Sel and get something
Joe: wait where did you go before selena?
Selena: huh?
Joe: you didnt come with nick so I assumed you went somewhere else
Selena: (looks at nick) I ummm i
Joe: did you see Demi (hopeful smile)
Nick: no Joe were not allowed
Selena: (holding back tears and walks out)
Joe: (confused) whats worng with her?
Nick: umm Ill go check and Kevin and ash can you stay with Joe
Kevin: sure thing
Nick: thanks (runs out after selena)
Kevin: so bro how you been?
Joe: dead (sighs)
Kevin: why?
Joe: well I havent seen or heard Demi if the past few days and I cant live without her so I feel dead
Kevin: (puts a hand on his shoulder) its gonna be alright Joe
Ashley: kevins rightDemi is strong and she will be fine
Joe: I hope so
Ashley: I know so
Joe: (fiddles with his purity ring)

Nick: (runs up to selena)
Selena: (crying)
Nick: (stops in front of her and hugs her) ssh whats wrong baby?
Selena: t-the doctors saidthatd-Demi might not make it
Nick: what why would they say that?
Selena: I d-dont knowbut when I wanted to meet herthey said I couldnt because she wasnt stable and I dont wana lose her nick (cries harder)
Nick: ssh babe (hugs her tighter) youre not gonna lose her I wont let that happen

Demis Doctor (DD): okay selena you can see her now but she isnt awake
Selena: (pulls away from nick) thanks doc..im going babe
Nick: okay (kisses her)
Selena: (leaves)
Nick: (sighs)
DD: (about to leave)
Nick: wait doc?
DD: yh?
Nick: whats wrong with Demiwhy wasnt she stable?

Joe: (pulls away) thanks
Ashley: no prob
Kevin: yh so we better go check on selenamake sure shes alright
Joe: (nods)
Ashley: but well come back before we leave
Joe: okay thanks guysbye
Kashley: bye (leave)

*with nick*

Nick: whats wrong with Demiwhy wasnt she stable?
DD: you see she had—
Kevin: (comes up) what did we miss?
Nick: well selena is in Demis room and the doc was gonna tell me whats wrong with Demi again
Ashley: okay shoot
DD: weve tried everything to help herher breathing changes over the hours and she is still calling for Joewe have taken out as much poison as we could from her blood but now we need new blood to do the blood transfusion and if we dont do it quick enough then she could diesome of her internal organs have been damaged and well she hit her head really hard and so she could have amneasia IF she recovers
Nick: man thats bad
DD: im so sorry (about to walk away)
Selena: (runs out of Demis room crying)
Nick: selena whats wrong?
Selena: (crying hard) ITS D-DemiSHES
