Sydney is the largest and most populous city in Australia and the state capital of New South Wales. Sydney is located on Australia's south-east coast of the Tasman Sea. Inhabitants of Sydney are called Sydneysiders, comprising a cosmopolitan and international population of people from numerous places around the world.

The site of the first British colony in Australia, Sydney was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove by Arthur Phillip, commodore of the First Fleet as a penal colony. The city is built on hills surrounding Port Jackson which is commonly known as Sydney Harbour, where the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge feature prominently. The hinterland of the metropolitan area is surrounded by national parks, and the coastal regions feature many bays, rivers, inlets and beaches including the famous Bondi Beach. Within the city are many notable parks, including Hyde Park and the Royal Botanical Gardens.

In 2010, Sydney was ranked 7th in Asia and 28th globally for economic innovation in the Innovation Cities Top 100 Index by innovation agency 2thinknow.[6] Sydney also ranks among the top 10 most livable cities in the world according to Mercer Human Resource Consulting and The Economist.

Sydney has a reputation as an international centre for commerce, arts, fashion, culture, entertainment, music, education and tourism, making it one of GaWC's Alpha + world cities. Sydney has hosted major international sporting events, including the 1938 British Empire Games, the 2000 Summer Olympics, and the final match of the 2003 Rugby World Cup. The main airport serving Sydney is Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport.

I dont think you are even getting my point, what I want is control in immigration policies and limit the number of people that can come in per year so it doesnt over whelm the countries native citizens and their culture im protecting the people, what you want is to let everyone walk in as they want to and take over the country.

@14jstorm ofcourse you can not let everyone in, in one country, but like in holland there is no overpopulation, and overpopulation has nothing to do with races, or believes. on top of that geert wilders´ party has allot of criminals in it, and he would be a new hitler. but despite or different views on the world, i think my english is good enough for a foreigner, because we have had this huge spam/disussion here anx you have understood everything i have said so far, who is the dickhead now.

@14jstorm i live in holland, my school is 50% muslim (2000muslims) not a single is killed for not wearing a burka....the 'problem' where you talk about is where i live in, but th biggest problem is people like you and geert wilders, who make it a problem.

@DonVitadamo Im sure there are plenty of nice msulims but most of them are rude to anyone that is not muslim, I dont personally talk to them I keep to myself, they refuse to fit in, they refuse to learn English ,Canadians are starting to complain about them ,I dont want them coming to western countries where they are just going to start problems, there is a backlash in europe now because of these idiotic politicians letting whole of islam into their country, and yes they over populate
