Wow...I am so ashamed of ever getting the giggles watching him when driving thru Burger King. Never asked him if he was hungry, and I say I am a Christian. And I can't tell you how often I have laughed about seeing Kee passed out on the wheelchair ramp at Goodwill on Christmas Day. We had dinner at Ruth's Chris and he was sitting on the sea wall w/ his parrot. Just wanted him to leave so he wasn't blocking the view. Shame on me. I will change because of this. I will!

People should be ashamed of themselves. I lived around the corner from the Banyan tree for a year. That man never did anyone any harm. He was only trying to preach the word. He was part of the Lahaina experience. What gave anyone the right to run him off? May he rest in peace.

Our LORD said, if they reject you, they reject ME, if they hate you, remember that they hated me first. if they receive you not, shake the dust off of your feet, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement and GOD's wrath on a CHRIST rejecting world. he who has JESUS has life, he who has not JESUS shall not see life but the wrath of GOD abides on him. he that believes not on the LORD JESUS is 'CONDEMNED ALREADY" without JESUS, you are already guilty with no defense

It has been 5 months and I just found out about the man I called Preacher Man....the tears roll down my face as I watch this video. I am thankful that he planted so many seeds in so many hearts. His life was an accomplishment of good. He always had a kind word, a smile,Christian love in his heart I will miss him sorely. Yes, he made most of us uncomfortable, he was indeed preaching the truth. I am glad that Jesus took him home so quickly after "They" forbid his preaching any longer.

Braddah Phillip... I have the newspaper with him on the front page after his death framed on my wall. Wake up, Lahaina, no can be selfish and deny his rights. Lahaina news, corporate tools. I used to kick it with Phil over at Burger King and the coral fort, the man was a legend and is missed.
For what it's worth, there's a new guy doing the "weird preacher thing" near the Banyan Tree now. He's got really bright blonde hair and reads the Bible on the corner, right in front of Cool Cats.
