@TheJuan480 in ona word: EPIC. as the person below me said is a shooting-RPG wjere you have to make choices. I found it at the begining of 2010 searching for a random space battle and came across the Battle of the Citadel thats part od mass effect 1, I felt curious so I made a little digging and found the game. I have been hooked ever since. give a try to a demo at least they are totally free

@TheJuan480 Mass effect is an action RPG game where as the story progresses you must make moral choices that define your character and the outcome of the story, it's a very different style than bioshock. If you give it a try and you like it then you can play Mass effect 2 and import your ME1 character to continue your story with your decisions and finally you can import again your ME2 character to Mass effect 3 where the story ends.
