@Haugy13 they may be just over half the height of Scandinavias highest peaks but there are still some challenging hills in Scotland.Ben Nevis up the pony track is just a long boring slog following the herd. The Cuillin on Skye, An Teallach and many others are not as high as BN but are far harder, especially in Winter. A summer stroll up the Ben is easy for anyone reasonably fit, a traverse of the Cuillin in winter is nothing less than a full mountaineering expedition. Height isnt everything.
hey check out the video i made of my friends band playing first ever electric gig on top of Ben Nevis, carried electric generator and drums up on backs!
@Haugy13 Lol... well im training for Mont Blanc currently an i think there great places to train as apposed to being stuck in the gym. Are you really into your mountaineering then? Serious question? Im not being facetious!
@Haugy13 Did you think he was showing off? lmao If you want to talk mountains, this is the biggest we have here in the uk.. fair enough. But even Edmund hillary trained on Snowdon... are number 2! There just a stepping stone for any British mountaineer.
