If you want to know which is better, I'd strongly say Pilates. It's hard to say how much it helped me.

I have taken about 70 falls, but this is the worst I have ever been hurt. I started physical therapy in the middle of August and on my own I’m finding myself wanting to go back to pilates. One problem, it hurts a lot! I had done yoga before but gave it up a couple years ago after I fell in love with pilates. Well as it turns out now I’m finding myself driven back to yoga. Of course I am limited to what I can do but I still feel like I am doing something.

Thank you for the video. I enjoy pilates more because I am very active end enjoy more exercise. I gallop race horses so I am very conscious of my core and the health of my spine as well as all over fitness, including as much as I don’t like it, running. In May a horse I was one was injured and I took a terrible fall resulting in a C2 fracture and a torn labrum in the shoulder (and a few other minor injuries).

@Supersmurf62 I train in martial arts as well so I understand the need to combine yoga with your training. Yoga is great when used with martial arts. They go well together. As for what you're asking, I found a great dvd called Budokon: Power and Agility. I know for a fact they have it at Netflix. That was where I saw it in the first place. I'm not sure if anyone else has it, but they should. Good luck out there, I hope you can find what you're looking for.

Can you train in both? I am concerned cause I want to do both. I only have 2 more months or so with my gym membership before we cancel it and I train in MMA/Judo.
Also I am wondering if this would help my grappling. A lot of the time, I find aggressive wrestlers either finishing the match quickly or getting finished quickly. I was wondering if yoga calming your body and breathing down can make you last forever on the mat and make smart decisions instead of stupid aggressive ones.
