On a Cold Weekend the last week in January we visit Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. We arrive in the Valley to find Ivatt Tank 41241 sitting on shed waiting to start the days steam roster, while the Railcar is already busy at work on a cold and Frosty Morning.

  • Another truly fabulous video from Mr.Baker & Penny. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the videos since subscribing and always look forward to your next offering. Being an enthusiast of British steam over here in Western Canada, your videos are a perfect way to "stay in touch" with the preservation movement as its happening; Keep up the great work! Will you be going back to the Ffestiniog Railway any time soon?

  • @locowerke Thankyou for your kind comments, First trip of the Year to Noth Wales will be easter week, then around may/june time and when ever I can make it in august, unfortunetly best time to go is midweek, so I have to book time of work and its good 3-4 hour journey each way or we would be there more often.

  • Being a member of the KWVR, I watch all your excellent videos with interest. Could you please tell me the make and model of your camera?

  • I love your segues from one video piece to another. Your audio tracks are amazing and sound seamless. Maybe it's the birds. I don't know if you add them or they are part of the scene. Whatever you secrets and skills are, I truly enjoy watching your videos. Everything there seems so calm and idyllic. Like a good cup of tea, a great end to the day.

  • Yet another masterpiece.!! What i love apart from your choice of lineside locations, is the atmosphere it creates, ie: birdsong , sound of running water etc etc; all adds to the video so well.

Thanks again, and am looking forward to your next one.

  • It's impossible to tire of your videos Ken. Absolutely brilliant - again. Any DVDs yet?

    Robert

  • No Snow over there?

  • @pennysteam Thanks for the info.

  • What can one say? I think this video is probably your best yet.
