    Think before you speak!

  • Air Angels was not owned by REACT.. they were owned by REACH aero-medical out of California.

Air Angels went out of business... I used to work for them.

Are you kidding me... Superior Flight has an excellent flight program!

BTW Mr. Know-it-all... it's OSF Lifeline, which is based out of St. Anthony Hospital.

  • @emtfire62 MedEx doesn't have a chopper...yet

  • UCAN (University of Chicago Aeromedical Network) is based out of University of Chicago medical center. They're an elite crew of a Doctor and Nurse. Thy do very few scene flights... more interfacility and operate one of the nicest birds... the Aerospatiale Dauphine. They also have a back up bird which is an Aerospatiale TwinStar. Their aircraft is serviced through Heli-Net chicago which also services the WGN9 Helicopter.

  • REACT is based out of Rockford Memorial.

Flight for Life is based out of Centegra Hospital McHenry (formerly Northern Illinois Medical Center/NIMC)

Lifestar is based out of Joliet and now operated by Air Methods.

  • people i would call before superior...

ucan, flight for life, OSF, react, Lifestar, WGN news chopper, chicago tours helicopter, chicago fire department, something out of state, air angels ( even though they're outa business i would wait for them to re-organize buy a new helicopter and then call them...), and then if all others were un available... i would take patient myself to hospital.

  • i was talking about programs not birds... big difference... but since you want to how can u really compare a dolphine to a eurocptor 135? new does not always mean better...

  • how is UCAN a real program??? Their helicopter sounds like horse crap. Just becuase ucan sucks dosnt mean you have to bust on Superior to feel better.

  • This heli is at the Dupage Airport

They have a great flight program. No Crashes

  • Superior has a great flight program. I'd fly with them any day!
