@TexasDPFacts Well it seems that there is no justice in the Legal System, you look back in the records of the death Penalty in the ultra racist South and its obvious what's going on,the majority of those executed were black males-some as young as 14.You have an uphill climb against the power of ignorance and the reactionary masses but i wish you luck.

Oh you can spot the mentally challenged amongst the comments.Or maybe its that Southern Neanderthal mentality.

I love the death penalty. Takes out the trash.

Oh, alright. No worries. I'm glad others are concerned with the misrepresentation of such persons.

Personally, I think it's odd that we set an arbitrary number for labeling someone as "mentally retarded" or not.
I found the statistics very interesting, especially the ones about pre-Atkins and post-Atkins. I just would like to say that it was a good video except for the "insane in the membrane" song. I watched this video because I find this topic interesting. I have a few family members with such disorders and I didn't find the song amusing.
@inwalther sorry if the song offended you, but it perfectly exemplified one of my themes for this video: the misrepresentation of mentally disabled or mentally ill persons by media outlets. It was not intended to implicate any of the offenders or other individuals but to justify my cause even further. Media outlets generally misrepresent the individuals just as the song does. Thank you for your post though.
