@wzweverink technically it's a modified Rainier underpinning with a leftover Bravada shell. Trailblazer isn't part of the mix at all, unless you are just saying that because it's the oldest of the platform.
Thanks for posting your video. Not nearly enough on this unique mix of "swede/american" technology. I love the people that feel the need to post the re badged trailblazer comment.. You might as well get on the Lexus 330 videos and tell them its a remodeled highlander...the Yukon is just a fancy Tahoe... the Nissan armada is the same thing as the qx45 or Lexus re badged version of the land-cruiser..whats the point? Heard that point a million times like its some "eureka" moment.. No one cares.
A pretty reasonable comment. Saab redisigned the GM360 interior to be inspired from the 9-5 at the time (thus the woodgrain and 9-5 cupholder). Saab put in the centre ignition. I must say the seats could have been better (very standard GM truck seats (although the leather does look nice)
I personally like the V8 engine however there was a 4.3i if you wanted a inline 6
I HATE SUVS, until I met this one The 9-7x just ticks all the boxes for me and of course the biggest box is the fact its a Saab
Well, you're partially right. They also worked on rhe interior, with some typically Saabish things like the ignition on the centre console, and stiffened the suspension a bit.
But that's about it. It's still an old Trailblazer underneath, and it drives like one too, be it a tad more responsive. With american V8 engines instead of turbo powered straight four engines (which are a true Saab classic)
But no offense, it looks OK if you like this sort of car.
is dat een diesel?

Another reason why GM could not sell SAABs. The royally screwed up 97x. God save SAAB

@h00kem94 I know, right? That's what I said. The Trailblazer is the oldest Chassy, but the Rainier and the Bravada are the shell/body.
