Use of American Oak in Bordeaux

M&R Manager Bill Luckey filmed Anne Quie, whose family owns Chateau Rauzan Gassies, speaking about the limited use of American Oak. Apparently, their young tasting samples are taken from the American oak rather than French oak, as the French oak is too dominant in the early development phase of the wine.
