The best way to transport your dog whist going sideways round the corners! And holds its value to. Nice!

I love that car. In my opinion, it was the better of the two. I wish the US got the wagons, but we only received the sedans. I always wonder, can you import those into the US? Would it be a "gray market" car? Hmm, well anyway, lovely car in a fantastic color combination.

Valve clearances were spot on at the time of the video. They had been adjusted about 2k miles prior. If anything, this car is over maintained... for the good cause!

You gotta love that Vanos.

@gerryFOREALS No vanos here... just a simple resonance flap that opens and closes at various rpm's to maximize torque. The flap is located right in the air intake plenum.

The? sound is typical of BMW solid lifter engines.
A quiet engine may indicate that tolerances are too tight.
All valves tolerances of this engine are between .28 and .31mm.
The car has recently been checked out by three different mechanics (both BMW and indy techs), they all raved about it!
All clutch components were replaced which has decreased idle rattling noise by quite a bit.
