  • You guys are just amazing, I wish I could sit down and chat with you about the state of the art in AI on a daily basis, learning something new every minute. Thank you for your class and everything, professors, perhaps I'll get to at least shake your hands and express my gratitude in person, some day.

  • I have enjoyed this course so much and hope someday I can be in one of your class or at least sit in one of your lectures. I feel so lucky to do this course.

  • Great professors and great people. Thank you both so much for making your knowledge and teaching methods available to so many people!

  • The course is fantastic. It has inspired a model that we are developing for students!! Thank you. All my students Brighton, UK love the videos and auto grade concept. Thanks and Merry Xmas

  • AHAHHAHA... Prof. Robot Thrun is so funny! :-)

Gentleman, I love your course! Thank you very much for dedicating so much of your valuable time to do this.

    Regards from Brazil!!

  • Sebastian, please use some more robot speak.

  • Natural Language processing question: The recent success of Siri and Watson appear to show a breakthru in NLP. What is this breakthru that stumped scientists for 30+ years? I assume no chat bot currently uses this tech. Why do chat bots seem able to only remember the last 3 or 4 comments of a dialog, and not be able to gain context from comments at the begining of the dialog?

  • Some good general advice here: Go out and find some problems to solve. At some point you'll find an interesting one and it might even be a theoretically open problem.

Thrun makes a good point around the 5m mark: Sometimes we tackle the wrong problem. Productive researchers pose provocative and solvable problems.

  • #t=277s If you have a solution, and not a problem, then the solution must be 42 :-)
