Italian officials say it could take up to ten months to remove the wrecked cruise ship Costa Concordia. The search for the missing and the effort to remove oil were both suspended Sunday, after the ship's position shifted amid rough seas. (Jan. 30)

I would like to see the televised removal of the captains balls. Slowly and painfully so that it takes 7-10 months. During the commercial breaks I would like to see the officials removing everything he has from his house and other holdings and selling them off to help pay the victims' families.

Once they empty the oil, it has the potential for becoming an exciting dive site. If anything, that would improve tourism, providing they don't sink it too deep.
